My name is Ashley and I’m a graphic designer / illustrator / comic artist based in Central PA. (With a little bit of the SoFlo scene thrown in!) Thankfully, I’ve always known I wanted to get into art. Since I was young, I’ve loved to create and draw– so I thought to myself “I could make a career out of this!”

After taking some courses at the Tyler School of Art (Temple University), I officially began my real studies at the Art Institute of York then graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. Ever since, I’ve worked with various businesses and individuals to help promote and grow their content through swag design, branding aesthetics, and more.

When I’m not cranking out projects, I often find myself rewatching various Ghibli movies and gaming.

PUTTING ON MY NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES AND PLAYING INSTRUMENTALS HELPS WITH MY CREATIVE PROCESS THE MOST. LATELY I’VE BEEN TUNING INTO LOFI BEATS, VIDEO GAME INSTRUMENTALS, AND VARIOUS JAM BANDS LIKE LOTUS, GOOSE, AND PIGEONS PLAYING PING PONG.

“WHAT OR WHO ARE YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATIONS?”
IT DEFINITELY HELPS COMING FROM A FAMILY OF ARTISTS HAHA. BUT HONESTLY, MY MOM IS PROBABLY ONE OF MY BIGGEST CHEERLEADERS. THE ONE WHO ALWAYS ENCOURAGED ME TO CHASE MY DREAMS, NO MATTER THE ODDS.
IN TERMS OF MY ARTISTIC DIRECTION, I HAVE TO THANK POP ARTISTS LIKE ROY LICHTENSTEIN AND KEITH HARING. I ALSO BASE MANY ELEMENTS OF MY STYLE FROM CARTOONS, COMIC BOOKS, AND ANIME, MOST NOTABLY CREATORS LIKE HIROHIKO ARAKI AND HAYAO MIYAZAKI.
